Though not a lot, it is more than what I've expected. I believe I managed to secure my performance allowance? And something else. Now I shall look forward to a full month's pay. Which I have to wait for a month of course. *laughs*

making use of spare time
Because I realised I wasted too much time on traveling and breaks, I have decided to do something so that during these times I can do something beneficial or helpful or at least useful.
- Bring a Japan guide along, bring a note book and jot down everything that I've understood about Japan.
- Bring a Japan map, study the railways and streets and interesting places to travel to and jot down on the note book mentioned in 1.
- Bring the NEWS lyrics book (I created one because I thought I should start to learn the lyrics as well as practising my Japanese writing and reading) and sing along whenever needed.
- Bring the Japanese homework of the week and do it during split shifts instead of sleeping.
- Other things.
So, there are at least 4 things for me to do during breaks. Seems like everything has got to do with my Japan trip. *laughs* I have decided to complete writing one song lyrics per day. Today I finished NEWS NIPPON. And after calculation, I still have 96 songs to complete. So this shall be a project of probably 3 months plus.
Yeah, my life somehow has some lives now. No longer a "no life"'s life.

I think I woke up early today
Because my mentor called me. It's strange how I chatted with her for 7 minutes plus when I've only just woken up by her call. Then we chatted a while. *laughs* But the main thing was graduation ceremony.
Trust me, without work, I would probably attend the ceremony. And I would definitely attend the class chalet. But because of work, I have to sacrifice both. Actually I don't really have a strong will to attend the ceremony, since it is a lot of hassle.
So I shall continue to surf net for NEWS news!
EDIT: I have a tendency to type "work" instead of "woke".. *laughs*
Adapting
Alright. It is getting fun in my work place somehow. Today I took the train home with one of my managers. Seems like he lives in Ang Mo Kio. Not fair, nearer than me. I have 3 managers anyway, he is the OM, while the other two are SC and MIT.
And this place seriously has more males than females. I'm so glad that at least the MIT is a female. And similarly, the other full-timer is also a female. Thank goodness she is a full timer, because before she came I was usually the only girl left at the end of the day. Last time I remembered I was running the floor or rather having my shift with other 5 male part-timers + SC and OM who are both males too. Then pathetically, everyone in the kitchen is male too. At least last time I used to have a female washer in Cine. And the part-timers there are almost all females. Imbalance. But anyway, Cine has all male managers.
I'm not a fussy eater. In Cine we had 2 meals a day but it is only one meal per day here. However, even though it is said so this way, I already had so many second meals here as well. Not to mention I got to try some of their food already, on the menu I mean. Today they even boiled herbal cooling tea for the staffs. But at the same time they gave us french fries. -_-|| It's strange, but I want to recall the meals I have had so far.
Cine: fried noodles, rice mixed with veg, curry bee hoon, fried rice, hor fun, porridge, fried kway teow and so many more...
Bugis: too lazy to type already, but had curry chicken, veg with mixed mushrooms, meat patty, ginger chicken, fried chicken and veg, fried rice noodles (bee tai mak), fish from their fish and chips...
Oh yes. Something embarrassing happened yesterday which I forgot to say. So embarrassing! Argh, I felt like hiding my face in a hole or something like an ostrich. A colleague brought out some cream pastries asking if I wanted to eat them. There were 3 pieces. Small pieces by the way. *laughs* I'm still trying to defend for myself somehow. Argh. So I ate the first, and I thought it was really nice, then I wondered if I should eat the second. Then finally I ate, and I even went to finish the third. Then he came back realised I've finished all. Alright, in actual fact I believe he brought 3 pieces out for himself. But probably wanted to give me a piece or something. Ahhhh. So embarrassing. In the end I apologised. Then I continue to work. And the end already.
I'm just a glutton. I admit.
Working there will just make me fat. Really. The manager actually packed food from outside for us. Especially during closing if many of us are feeling hungry. I had carrot cake yesterday's night.
And yes, the other full-timer and I were called the ironman somehow because we just don't seem to go for toilet breaks. Well I only had toilet break once a day after working in Cine for 10 days. Before that I survived the whole day for a period of ten days without toilet breaks during working. Similarly in Bugis as well. I survived the first 4 to 5 days. Then finally when our SC kept saying that we're ironmen and all. Today I finally went for a break. *laughs* But I know when will be a good timing for breaks, so that's still fine.
Alright, I'm happy working here actually. Because I learnt how to make Macha Smoothie, Mocha Float, Lime Juice and Waffle already. Satisfaction I shall say~ *SMILES*
Anyway, finally my OFF day! Shall sleep early tonight I think! Night everyone!

Lucky numbers?
Just suddenly remember about this. My code number in Bugis branch is 0056. Yeah. 5566. *laughs* Previously in Cine was 0088. Not a bad number too. These number are random and from what I've seen, there are numbers like 007, 00XX and all. 00XX or 00X anyway.
Then about this number thing. I want to say that I set up a MySavings Account with POSB. Then the account number of this account is great! *laughs* I wonder if they specially made it for me. Because it has 56 and my birthday in it! I'm going to love this account. *laughs*
As time goes by
I think days just pass like this, "....".
Probably because I'm working.
Actually, not only one person asked me whether I'll be able to take all the working and all.
Because F&B is tedious and long hours and not-so-good pay.
Then I still have tuition assignments once a week.
Some are already showing concerns for my health and all.
Actually I think I won't be able to take it.
But I want to try.
I don't want to give up that easily.
I think this is one stubbornness of mine.
I wonder if this is a character of Blood Type A too.
Anyway, as time goes by, one will get accustomed to the environment.
I think I'm already slowly adapting to all these.
I will be able to take it.
Thanks all for your concerns! :)

another day
Yan xuan came. I totally didn't notice her when I first saw her and I just went by and asked her to hold on for a while. Then the second time I got "OI" by her then I realised it was her. I saw Meizi on train too. Then today I messed somethings during work. I felt so sorry. It must have cost a lot. Ahhhh..
So tomorrow another day. Yet another day. Then another day. Slowly time will go by and the day will be nearing.
That's all!
By the way. I chatted with Yan xuan for a long time today. I really felt so happy that she came and she accompanied me on my way home on the phone. Thanks! Must book that day for me ah!

decided!
No matter which job or whatsoever, I shall end everything by end of Nov so that I can prepare intensively for my Japan trip during Dec. except tuition if it can last till then too~
Yeah. decided.
Slight update
To: Watashi wa anata no koto ga suki na no ni, anata wa watashi no koto ga suki ja nai. Zan nen deshita.
イファさんだろう?(笑)
Alright, 2 more days to a new week! I have already worked for 16 days and will slowly reach my first 20 days! Then finally I can proceed on to a 30 days and so on. I'll have to work around 200 days. And with that 200 days, I can get around $6000? So that will be $30/day? So sad. And with that, I'll be flying to Japan.
And I must quickly think of a phrase to use whenever I'm behind someone. *Thinks hard*
And memorise menu. Yeah.
The end.
EDIT: I managed to get an hour of sleep today. I woke up just 2 minutes before the alarm rang. Then I managed to get that magazine I wanted. But I worked so much overtime for them and I even forgot to time out just now during the night. I hope nothing will happen.

Updating
Alright, today for the first time I tried to be a food runner and I failed so badly. Argh. It's so crazy during dinner time and I went practically blank. But I'll work hard tomorrow! I hope they will continue to put me there to train me better. I'll organise my thoughts better than today!
Now am I overdoing it? Over at Cine I was too much an introvert. So I tried to be an extrovert but somehow I think I'm overdoing it?
Anyway, there's this chef who calls me "mo li" which means Jasmine in Chinese. *laughs* It's supposed to be "mo lin" even if converted to Chinese. But I actually missed his name. So I shall slowly find out. *laughs* He's like the head chef/Muru over at Cine. :)
Again I bet all the staffs are younger than me except the manager positions. Old and useless me. Must work harder! Be more alert!
By the way I have more and more injuries on my body as time goes by. I have one big blue-black on my left calf, one on my left arm, some scalding here and there and loads of skin irritation which I suspect either from the cloth texture of the shirt or the excessive use of shrimps/prawns in their staff meals.
Drink more shake drink more shake.
Anyway, I'm getting so dehydrated. Because I won't even have time to properly drink. It is either I don't or I drink in big gulps. I must work out some ways to drink edequate amount of water everyday.
Lastly, change of schedule again (my early shift today became a split shift of 10 hours in the end -_-||). Please check on the right side especially for Yan Xuan san. I forgot the number already but seriously that number looked so familiar and I'm super sure it is from my neighbourhood. So Yan Xuan? Was that 1819 you? Because I only managed to remember one of your house phone numbers now.
That will be all. And there goes my whole week because I won't have any time to wash laundry/clean room/properly rest and all since I'm like almost having split shifts everyday.
By the way, I slept for around 30 minutes in the food court today. I think I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow. But this time round, I shall make it around an hour if possible. And I want Oricon Style! NEWS on the cover! I wonder if I'll be able to reserve a copy tomorrow. Shall see how~ So my three hours of break will become half an hour of eating in Shokudo, half an hour of shopping in Kino, half an hour of toilet break + grabbing a seat in the food court while finding fruits to eat and reading the magazine, then finally an hour of sleep and half an hour of freshening up before work. Yeah. All planned. I just hope that will work. *laughs*
I know I'm speaking too fast here, but I'm already planning when I should officially end my job and if I should continue or find a new job when I'm back from Japan. I shall see how as it goes. Too early to come out with a verdict.

Argh
I felt so disoriented just now during my work. I hate the fact that I need two weeks to fully adapt to an environment. Please let me adapt as soon as possible!
New table arrangements, new menu, new closing procedures, new opening procedures, new shifts. Argh. So many new things. Thank goodness for short shift tomorrow. But I have to wash out all my sweaters, just for split shift's sake. Happy washing tomorrow. Big possibility of washing my apron + shirt too.
And whenever I ask what to do with the item on my hand, there'll always be this reply, "bring it home.". Thank you so much. I could open a Shokudo restaurant one day if I was to bring everything home.
Please guide me more tomorrow. (Or rather, later~) Thank you.

Oh no
Nokia N86 is not longer appealing to me. I'm slowly drifting to LG and Samsung and Sony Ericsson. Never mind. I shall just wait patiently for the models to be released. Since I want to ensure I get a bug free phone and all.
Dream phone, please appear soon!
Jobs
I just got my pay for my first tuition ever~ Yeah~ And he is a nice boy~ *smiles* He is talking so much more to me now. Than his first lesson with me. Hahah.
Alright. It is a new day now. :)

Mobile phones
Well, after much research, seems like this year will be a great year for many mobile releases. Because Nokia is going to release N86 (my ideal phone so far), LG and Samsung releasing pretty phones with 8 MegaPixels camera and Sony Ericsson releasing a 12 MP camera phone.
Super great. Because I'm totally in for such phones. High functionality, great specifications, user friendly, and posh and sleek and multi-purpose.
Because I always rely on my phone for all my sources of entertainment. I need a good phone to put myself in a good shape. Although this might mean sacrificing some savings for my Japan trip, I'm totally alright with it. I want a great phone to accompany myself in Japan too.
Getting a phone too good is dangerous. But I want to risk it this time. I shall wait patiently meanwhile for all the releases to come (while using my faulty N2100 and N6230i. Yes, I need to use BOTH of them because both are faulty in some ways and I need BOTH to compliment each other.) and compare them properly. I doubt I'll be buying a Japanese phone. Because most of them are only 5MP. Too little to feed my appetite. Now I hope to meet a dream phone real soon.
(I wonder why I'm not attracted to iPhone.)
EDIT: Now I'm wondering if I want a touch-screen phone. (Because N86 is not.)
20 April, 2009
You may start
To SMS me your name so that I can keep your contacts once again.
You can include your house number if you're comfortable in letting me know~
Once again, I'll have to save all the numbers down. I bet I lost so many contacts.
Same number! Thanks!

Thank you
Not sure if everyone will get to read this post. But I really feel like thanking everyone who has played a part in my life.Thank you for bringing joy to my life.Thank you for being there when I needed you.Thank you for giving encouragement and support for everything I do.Thank you for trusting me.There are so many people I want to thank. Family, friends, people whom I may not have met and even my idols. Thanks for the support. Even though life may be tough, knowing that there are still people around and behind me comforts me. I'm really glad to be such a fortunate person with people supporting me regardless of my decision.THANK YOU.
Just felt like writing the above because of Crystallised forum. But I truly felt the need to thank everyone. :)
Arigatou~ :D
Transferring to Bugis
Read on some blogs and some reviews about the Bugis branch Shokudo already. Obviously the menu will be different. Argh, one is Pasta & Pizza, another is Coffee House. Just give me another set of menu home to memorise. Thank you.
I've read more about Shokudo, and the menu and the people and all. Some I hope to be true, and some not. But seriously, I hope the people there are nice. I doubt I'll be able to mingle with the kitchen staffs as much as I did in Cine branch. It's a sad thing because I have to admit, the head chef of Cine is really funny. :) Actually, almost all kitchen staffs are friendly and funny and easy to get along with.
A small episode to share with. The head chef called for me and I went over. Then he said, "Table 22's light too bright, make it dimmer.". Upon hearing that, I really walked to the front and was thinking how on earth could I adjust that light when there's only one switch and it affects all the lights of the booth seats. Then he called out for me again, and he asked, "You really want to adjust the lights ah?" And I could still stupidly answer yes and said I was intending to dim all lights and all. How stupid I was. Because he was just trying to joke and prank me somehow.
Alright, I admit I'm starting to already liking the kitchen staffs.
I'll definitely miss the kitchen staffs, AND THE MENU. That menu that took around 2 weeks for me to fully memorise. Just wait for me to return to Cine. *laughs* I doubt I'm ever going to.
